These can be provided for existing owners and purchasers

  • Preparation of condition reports and schedule of repairs and maintenance work.
  • Listed building considerations.
  • Tracing the history of the property. This can be useful in terms of the personal interest of the owner or to use at a future date in relation to planning or listed building issues.
  • Advice on damp and timber issues.
  • Valuations for a variety of purposes including matrimonial, tax, probate and other issues.
  • Valuations for insurance rebuilding costs.
  • Preparation of measured drawings using the latest technology in the form of spatial laser scanners. These are particularly useful in terms of providing floor plans in relation to Grade1 and Grade2x listed properties and in conjunction with insurance rebuilding costs. On the larger, more complicated historic buildings, the use of new technology is a significant advancement for the level of inspection and report writing.
  • Advice relating to PPS5 published March 2010 by English Heritage and the provision of statements of significance which are now necessary before local planning authorities validate planning applications.
  • Preparation of different levels of historic building survey reports as defined by English Heritage guidelines and associated recording in order to satisfy planning consent conditions.
